Opening Day for The Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair is May 18th for weekends only. The Bear Mountain Golf Course will be opening daily beginning May 18th. The Driving Range is open daily; range tokens and golf season passes are available for purchase at the pro-shop. Visit our Summer Website for details.

Closed for Winter 2011/12
Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are closed for the 2011/2012 winter season. We had another exciting year and we have all of you to thank for that!
We opened on November 10th, and thanks to our snowmaking capabilities and some early-season storms, we had more snow, more open terrain, and better coverage early on than almost any other resort! For most of the season we soaked up the sun with that classic SoCal weather we all love. And even though we had mostly sunny days this year, we had a few huge powder days that put us past our average season snowfall total, with up to 140 inches!
Make sure to see what Big Bear has to offer in the summer months! The resorts typically reopen for winter fun in November.
