This Week’s Outlook

Sunny skies and a high around 50 are what you can expect today at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain! With the most open terrain, the deepest snow pack and the best coverage in SoCal, we have everything you need for a great time on the slopes! Put your dual-mountain lift ticket to good use and be sure to check out both resorts for even more variety and a fun change of scenery!

Chair 1 is temporarily closed due to maintenance but Chair 2 is open and accesses the entire mountain. Head over to Chairs 7 and 10 and spend the day on the east side of the mountain where you’ll find wide open runs and short lift lines.

A cold low pressure is expected to begin moving in Thursday with increasing clouds and winds.  Snow is likely on Friday, then clearing and cold over the weekend. This will be a very cold system with snow levels as low as 2,000 feet with 3-6 inches expected, maybe more. Highs only in the 20’s by the weekend and lows in the teens. Dry and warmer next week.

All three roads to Big Bear are OPEN with no chains required.
