With the approval of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain will be open with full operations today.
With 12-14 inches of fresh snow and counting today this is shaping up to be a powdery one! The current storm is expected to stick around through tonight and should clear out by tomorrow for mostly sunny skies.
Today’s high is 27 with a low of 7 so be sure to bundle up! Night session is cancelled tonight but we do expect to have it tomorrow from 3-9:30pm
With both resorts nearly 100% open, the most open runs and deepest snow pack in Southern California, Snow Summit is a great local get-a-way. Chair 1 is closed for maintenance but Chair 2 is open and accesses the entire mountain.
