Snow Summit Received 1-3 inches of Snow

Last night’s quick snow storm left us with 1-3 inches of new snow on the ground.  The forecast for the rest of the week looks like it is going to warm back up to the 60’s during the daytime.  Although mother nature seems to be playing games with us it is still not enough snow to give us a good kick start to the season, but it sure is getting us really excited about the upcoming winter.  Typically we open for skiing and snowboarding mid to late November.  This sure is a good reminder to get your equipment out of the closet and take it to you local ski or snowboard shop for a tune-up and wax before we open.  Reservations for the 2013-14 winter season can be made once we open for the season.

We hope to open the Scenic Sky Chair for mountain biking and hiking this weekend.  We will be making a decision on Wednesday afternoon once this storm system has cleared out.  Please check back with us then.

The Bear Mountain Golf Course is now closed for the season.
