We’re open today for skiing and snowboarding today with some fresh POWDER!
The current storm has brought us some 8-10″ of fresh snow and it’s not showing signs of stopping anytime soon! Drive safe today! It will take you some extra time to get up here but the conditions will be worth it! Don’t forget your tire chains, they are required on all vehicles except those with 4wd and awd with snow tires on highways 18 and 38. Highway 330/18 the front way is closed but plans to reopen soon. Check CalTrans for the latest road information.
Today’s hours are 8am-6pm for day session, 12pm-6pm for half day. Night session is scheduled for this evening from 3-9:30pm but is still dependent on the weather. Today snow coverage is very good on the open runs but please use caution near the runs edges.
Head on over to Bear Mountain today to check out War of Rails, the professional skiing competitions and one of the largest events held at Bear will take over The Scene. Olympic competitors will be in attendance so grab a drink and watch all the action from the Beach Bar.
