Good Morning And Welcome To A Snowy Saturday

The National Weather Service has issues a Winter Storm Warning for the Big Bear area which takes effect at 4 pm this afternoon and remains in effect through 4 pm Monday afternoon. The Warning calls for periods of snow showers with locally heavy snowfall for the mountains above 5,000 feet. Our snow makers have been at it every moment conditions have allowed this past week and it looks like they will be able to continue through this storm further ensuring you will find the best conditions in Southern California at our resorts. We have more open terrain than any other SoCal resort with better coverage, better snow conditions, better features, better parks and better events. Your one ticket gets you two resorts. Peeking Ahead at the Forecast

It seems that every time we take a peek at the weather forecast for this coming weekend it keeps looking better and better. Have you seen it? The chance of snow keeps getting greater and the amount of snow that this storm is suppose to dump on Big Bear keeps getting higher and higher. This is looking like the best chance of the season to enjoy some deep powder conditions. Until the storm comes our surface condition is good to very good with a base depth of 12-24″, but do your snow dance to ensure that our good conditions turn to great conditions. All roads to Big Bear are currently clear and open. Get here before the storm rolls in and oh well if you’re snowed in, you could always use an extra ski day on Monday. Now that’s a cure and a half for any case of the Monday’s […]
