It has been a fantastic week at Snow Summit Mountain Resort and we have been working for the weekend! What have we been up to? We have been taking all of the snow Mother Nature has been sending our way and supplementing it with our incredible snowmaking system to open more lifts, trails and parks for you and your family to enjoy this weekend! Skiers and riders will find a variety of lifts and terrain to choose from this morning including Lower Westridge complete with features!!! At 8:00 Chairs 1 & 2 will open. At 8:30 Chairs 3 and 8 will open and at 9:00 Chairs 4, 7, 9 as well as MC1 and MC3. Guests will find all skier services available today with rental shops and ticket windows opening 1/2 an hour before Lifts at 7:30 am.
It’s Friday night, also our first night session. This is exciting news, because we normally shut down the chair lifts at 4 pm, but not today. Today, our lifts are operating until 9:30 pm. We’ll do the same tomorrow and night sessions are scheduled for December 25, 2014 all the way through Jan 3, 2015. We’ve also expanded our hours of operation. That means more time to play for the whole family. If you take a family photo or any photo here, try using our hashtag #SnowSummit when you post your pictures. Saturday is looking great with nice weather, open roads with no restrictions, and more chairs opening. Our Beginner Area got bigger, serviced by Chair 4. Chairs 7, 9, and Magic Carpet 1 are now open to give you access to Ego Trip, Cruiser, Skyline, Sundown, Upper Log Chute, and Timber. That should keep the whole family busy all day and into […]
We have had 5-7″ of natural snow on top of the 8-11″ that fell last week. We have also had great conditions to make snow this week with the cooling temperatures. Good news is that with all this new snow our base has increased to 12-26 inches! This week saw the addition of classic trails like Upper Westridge, Zzyzx and Ego Trip. Tomorrow we will open more lifts and trails! Opening at 9:00 am will be Chair 9 with more great terrain like the Skyline Creek, Sundown Family Fun Parks and Cruiser! 9am will also mark the season opening of Chair 7 and Upper Log Chute, 7-down and Lower Timber Ridge! Lastly we will also see our beginner area grow with Chair 4 coming on line at 9 am also! Great snow, more terrain- what are you waiting for? Tomorrow is the last day of Early Season Ticket Pricing- so […]
