Snow, Sun and Fun! - 5:15am, 3/15/2013

Nothin’ but clear blue skies are in the forecast for the rest of the week and through the weekend at Snow Summit! We have the deepest base and best conditions in SoCal, plus we have 100% of our runs open with excellent coverage! Come on up for a fun day on the slopes.

You can also ski or ride all day, and then apply the value of your lift ticket towards a Screamin’ Deal Season Pass. Season passes are good for the rest of this season and all of next season too! More information HERE.

Don’t forget that we have new operating hours in effect for the rest of the season:
Monday-Friday: 9:00am-4:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8:30am-5:00pm

Midweek Paradise - 5:12am, 3/14/2013

Midweek on the mountain is the best! With little to no lift lines, the best conditions in SoCal, blue skies and just a short drive away, Snow Summit is the place to be right now!

The Screamin’ Deal Season Pass Sale are on sale now! Passes are valid for the rest of the 2012-13 season and are at the best prices of the year! Check our season pass page for more information.

New operating hours are in effect through the rest of the season. Snow Summit will be open from 9:00am- 4:00pm Mondays through Fridays and 8:30-5:00pm on weekends.

This Week’s Outlook - 1:51pm, 3/11/2013

Clear blue skies are in the forecast all week long at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Both mountains are 100% open with the most snow and best conditions in SoCal. For just a tank of gas Snow Summit is the perfect day-cation destination!

Sunday Sunshine! - 5:19am, 3/10/2013

Did you remember to change your clocks last night?? With the days getting longer its a great time to get some sun on the best snow in Southern California! Fridays storm brought 12-14 inches of the good stuff making for super fun packed powder conditions today!

Remember that our new operating hours go into effect today:
Saturdays and Sundays- 8:30am-5:00pm
Mondays through Fridays- 9:00am-4:00pm

Goldsmith’s 4th race of the season is today on Miracle Mile so come cheer on Snow Summits Race Team.

With open roads, sunny conditions and the best Bloody Mary’s in Big Bear today is going to be a great Sunday Funday!

Feels Like Midwiinter! - 5:11am, 3/10/2013

Yesterday’s 12-14 inches of fresh snow was so much fun but today was even better! We have a packed powder surface today, mostly sunny skies and the most snow in SoCal!

Today was a fun one with the 17th annual Victor Alvarez Memorial Race and Silent Auction (more info and photos of the winners can be found HERE) and Snow Summit’s last night session of the 2012-2013 season from 3:00pm-9:30pm.
