End 2014 with a Champagne Toast and Champagne Powder!

What a way to end with a bang! This is the last post of 2014 and the skiing and riding conditions are looking great for January, 2015 (which is Learn to Ski & Ride Month)! We received more than a foot of champagne powder and even now we are continuing to make snow!  What does that mean?  It means we are finishing off 2014 with the best conditions we’ve had so far this year.  Conditions are also better than they were at any point last season! Today marked the opening of Chair 10, servicing Perfect Pitches and Sugarpine. That means we now have more open terrain then we had at any point last season!  And we’re not done yet… Tomorrow will mark the opening of Chair 6, servicing The Wall and Olympic! Plus we will be expanding terrain on Chair 10 to include Side Show and over at Chair 9 […]

More Trails And Features Added

We are on day number 3 of making real snow continuously. The snowmakers are on overtime, but that’s fine with us. As long as the temperature is low and the air is dry, we don’t plan on stopping. Our snowmaking efforts are taunting Mother Nature to join in. Forecast is calling for snow to hit the mountains as soon as Monday night. With all this snow we’re making it has allowed us to open more trails and increase our feature count, which is now up to 37!  Tomorrow we plan to open a new run, Mainstream, in the Family Fun Park! Our holiday schedule is in effect until January 3rd. We have nightly sessions until 9:30 pm. When your day session tickets expire at 6 pm, you can upgrade for just $15 to continue until 9:30 pm. There are only 4 days left in 2014. We are ready for the New […]

Santa Had Some Time To Visit

Only four days left until Christmas. Lots of families have the entire week off. Come play. Santa paid us a visit before he gets real busy. When Saint Nick is done delivering presents, that’s when our holiday schedule begins. During the Holiday period we will have extended hours while the day gets shorter with the winter solstice. Your shadow at noon will be the longest of the year. The sun appears in the sky much lower than any other day of the year, which means your shadow will be longer. Today we’ve launched our Season Long Fan Photo contest! Submit your #SlopeSideSelfies for a chance to win some swag every Sunday! | In the spirit of Christmas, & to kick off the first day of winter, we’ve selected our top 14 selfies so far in the 2014/15 winter season and guess what? They all win prizes! | Congrats: @rapheal21 | @lin3ixoxo | @heidadyda […]
