Get it while the getting is good. It’s beyond good here when it comes to snow. We don’t have the third best snow, we’re not second either. We have the best snow compared to resorts in Northern and Southern California. If it wasn’t true and backed up by hard data, we couldn’t say it. When we say hard data, this is what we mean; one SoCal resort is reporting 13 open trails and the other one has 13 trails open. You would have to pay for two lift tickets to hit 26 trails. On the other hand, one of our day session lift tickets gets you access to 39 open trails, that’s more than the other two combined. Talk about a value packed lift ticket. Ticket windows and rentals open at 8:00am today, and you can get on the first lifts at 8:30. Both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are nearly 100% open! We have the best skiing and riding conditions in two years! Today is the first day of Learn to Ski and Ride Month. It’s a way to show everyone how fun it is to play in the snow. Your advance purchase of any Adult or Young Adult first time beginner-only learn to ski or snowboard package will come with free rental equipment. Thanks to the best snow conditions in 2 years, we have all 26 lifts available here and at our sister resort, Bear Mountain. These lifts will take you to terrain for all levels, from beginners to advanced, and provide you access to better conditions than any other SoCal resort! Caltrans has reported that all roads to Big Bear are open and clear. You have an easy drive this weekend to the mountains so you can finish the Holidays out with a weekend to ski your choice of day and/or night sessions. Easy drive, 26 lifts, 114 features, and 42 trails between both resorts! There’s no reason your family shouldn’t be here this weekend. Tickets may sell out so make your reservations online in advance.
