^^^^^ Do you see that? There is snow in our future! Forecasts are calling for up to nine inches on the mountain! Conditions next week should be ripe for more snowmaking. So we’re looking at snow on snow! It will start as rain on Thursday (great for the reservoirs!) before the temperature drops and we get glorious snow. Bear Mountain is now scheduled to open for daily operations on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8:30 am. Bear will open with Chair 1, but if conditions improve we could get Chair 9 going, as well! Keep thinking snow, it’s working!
We are cooking with gas this weekend. Or rather, snow! Last night the conditions were just right and we were able to make more snow. Last nights cool dry conditions have allowed the snowmaking to continue at full speed! We have reopened EgoTrip today with a fresh groom and new snow. Westridge will be closed temporarily today as we make more snow and mix up the park. Look for a new set up and features coming soon! Todays snow surface is groomed packed powder, the snow depth is 10-18 inches and the coverage is good on the open runs.
