Bear Mountain is shut down for the afternoon. Bear Mountain guests are welcome to use their lift tickets at Snow Summit or head to Guest Services and get a voucher to return to the mountain another day. Enjoy one more sunny day on the slopes because winter weather is expected to return by late tonight! Snow showers are in the forecast and expected to last through tomorrow and into Saturday morning. Make plans to be here this weekend to enjoy fresh snow and mostly sunny skies! Follow the forecast HERE. Chair 1 is temporarily closed due to maintenance but Chair 2 is open and accesses the entire mountain. Head over to Chairs 7 and 10 and spend the day on the east side of the mountain where you’ll find wide open runs and short lift lines.
We received 4 inches of fresh snow last night and today is mostly sunny skies with a high of 39 degrees. We’ve also been making snow since early last night and will continue as long as conditions permit! Today’s surface ranges from machine groomed packed powder to powder, so be sure to line up early if you want first tracks. Lifts open at 8:30am!
Snow Summit is closed today, November 16th, and will reopen tomorrow, November 17th, weather permitting. Bear Mountain will remain open today with Chair 1 accessing Expressway, the Gulch and Lower Park Run and Chair 7 accessing Inspiration. Head over there for a stacked park and early season rates: Adults- All day $35/Half-day $30; Young Adults (13-21)- All day $30/Half-day $25; Children (7-12)- All day $15/Half-day $10. Tomorrow we expect to open Chair 1 accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom and Chair 8 accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area.
