Snow Summit has it all! World-class steeps, fun terrain parks and everything in between! Enjoy excellent coverage and the most open terrain in SoCal! Today’s forecast is partly sunny and highs are around 50 all week long. Take a break and grab a drink at the all-new ski-in/ski-out Slopeside Pub at the bottom of Chair 2! This newly remodeled sundeck is the place to be for live entertainment and drink specials. Ski or ride all morning and still make it home in time for today’s Big Game. Take advantage of our Half-Day Getaway and turn your ticket in by 1pm to receive a voucher for up to $19 to put towards your next lift ticket! There’s something for everyone at our resorts, so head up today for a great time on the slopes! *Note: Chair 1 is closed due to maintenance. Chair 2 is open and accesses the entire mountain.
We have been making snow and opening new runs everyday this week and yesterday Lower Log Chute opened! It’s only the beginning of the holidays and already we have 12 available lifts and a variety of open runs for all abilities. Miracle Mile, Summit Run and LogChute are all open top-to-bottom and the beginner area is open for first and second timers. Ego Trip, Upper Westridge and ZZYZX Parks are open with 25 terrain park features and Chair 7 is open accessing Upper Log Chute, Lower TimberRidge and 7-Down. Chair 9 is open serving Sundown and Cruiser runs. As snowmaking continues, even more lifts and runs will open for the holidays! Snow Summit is open today with Chair 1 which accesses Miracle Mile top-to-bottom and Chair 8 accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area. Take a break and grab a cold drink and appetizers at the all new Slopeside Pub overlooking lower Miracle Mile. Find out how you can save $20 on Cyber Monday HERE Snow Summit will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, November 26, 2012 until further notice. The re-open date still remains flexible. Bear Mountain is open with full services including snowsports lessons, equipment rentals, food services and the Beach Bar. Chair 1 accessing Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park run will be open with 37 terrain park features and Chair 7 will be open for beginners. Snow coverage is good and the depth averages 18 inches.
