Make Us Part of Your New Year’s Plan

National Weather Service is predicting 100% chance of snow today that should continue through tomorrow morning. If you’re planning on coming here for the NYE party, leave now and beat the storm up here. All roads are open with no restrictions, so it’ll be an easy drive. Are you ready for snow?

^^^^^ Do you see that? There is snow in our future! Forecasts are calling for up to nine inches on the mountain! Conditions next week should be ripe for more snowmaking. So we’re looking at snow on snow! It will start as rain on Thursday (great for the reservoirs!) before the temperature drops and we get glorious snow. Bear Mountain is now scheduled to open for daily operations on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8:30 am. Bear will open with Chair 1, but if conditions improve we could get Chair 9 going, as well! Keep thinking snow, it’s working!
