^^^^^ Do you see that? There is snow in our future! Forecasts are calling for up to nine inches on the mountain! Conditions next week should be ripe for more snowmaking. So we’re looking at snow on snow! It will start as rain on Thursday (great for the reservoirs!) before the temperature drops and we get glorious snow. Bear Mountain is now scheduled to open for daily operations on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8:30 am. Bear will open with Chair 1, but if conditions improve we could get Chair 9 going, as well! Keep thinking snow, it’s working!
IT’S SNOWING! As of 3:30pm we have received over 4 inches and it’s still coming down! This storm is predicted to pass through by tomorrow so make plans to be here for some fresh powder turns tomorrow morning! Today we are opening Chair 3 with access to Ego Trip and Westridge/ZZYZX (not a full park set up at this time), as well as Moving Carpet 3 for beginners. We now have 5 lifts and 5 runs open for your enjoyment! It looks like weather is going to stay positive for natural snowfall as well as snowmaking conditions throughout the weekend! Plan on heading up early today before the storm is in full swing because tomorrow snow conditions are going to be super fun! We received 12-14 inches of fresh snow since last night and its still coming down! Snow showers are expected to stick around through the day and clear out tomorrow, making for a fun powder weekend! Don’t forget, the final night session of the 2012/13 season is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, March 9th. There is no night session tonight. Don’t miss your last chance to ski or ride under the lights tomorrow! Remember to change your clocks this Sunday for Daylights Savings Time. We’ll be springing forward with new operating hours.
