What a week… We got through Christmas experiencing prime conditions for snowmaking, opened trails and chairs, and we have heard that natural snow could happen as early as tomorrow evening. Just because the day is over, doesn’t mean we’re done. Night session will go on until 9:30 pm. These nightly adventures will continue through January 3rd. If you would like to extend your day session tickets to include our night session it is only a $15 upgrade. Coming up here in a few days? We have other nighttime fun planned for you. Our New Year’s Eve festivities will start with our annual Torchlight parade and the party that follows the event will feature DJ Desi from 8 pm to 12:30 am! $20 tickets are available at the door on the night of the event. Admission includes appetizers, a champagne toast and more! See you there! This party is 21+.
We are on day number 3 of making real snow continuously. The snowmakers are on overtime, but that’s fine with us. As long as the temperature is low and the air is dry, we don’t plan on stopping. Our snowmaking efforts are taunting Mother Nature to join in. Forecast is calling for snow to hit the mountains as soon as Monday night. With all this snow we’re making it has allowed us to open more trails and increase our feature count, which is now up to 37! Tomorrow we plan to open a new run, Mainstream, in the Family Fun Park! Our holiday schedule is in effect until January 3rd. We have nightly sessions until 9:30 pm. When your day session tickets expire at 6 pm, you can upgrade for just $15 to continue until 9:30 pm. There are only 4 days left in 2014. We are ready for the New […]
It’s Friday night, also our first night session. This is exciting news, because we normally shut down the chair lifts at 4 pm, but not today. Today, our lifts are operating until 9:30 pm. We’ll do the same tomorrow and night sessions are scheduled for December 25, 2014 all the way through Jan 3, 2015. We’ve also expanded our hours of operation. That means more time to play for the whole family. If you take a family photo or any photo here, try using our hashtag #SnowSummit when you post your pictures. Saturday is looking great with nice weather, open roads with no restrictions, and more chairs opening. Our Beginner Area got bigger, serviced by Chair 4. Chairs 7, 9, and Magic Carpet 1 are now open to give you access to Ego Trip, Cruiser, Skyline, Sundown, Upper Log Chute, and Timber. That should keep the whole family busy all day and into […]
