Sunday at Snow Summit

Snow Summit is open today with Chair 1 which accesses Miracle Mile top-to-bottom and Chair 8 accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area. Take a break and grab a cold drink and appetizers at the all new Slopeside Pub overlooking lower Miracle Mile. Find out how you can save $20 on Cyber Monday HERE Snow Summit will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, November 26, 2012 until further notice. The re-open date still remains flexible. Bear Mountain is open with full services including snowsports lessons, equipment rentals,  food services and the Beach Bar. Chair 1 accessing Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park run will be open with 37 terrain park features and Chair 7 will be open for beginners. Snow coverage is good and the depth averages 18 inches.

It’s Snowing!

It’s been snowing steadily all afternoon and we’re expecting several inches to stack up by tomorrow, which will make this weekend amazing for some late-season skiing and riding. Snow Summit is expected to remain open with fun and complete services for the whole family, including snow sports school and all levels of terrain, through at least April 15th. If today’s storm comes through as forecast, there is a good chance we will stay open past Sunday.  The final decision will be made by tomorrow, so be sure to check back here for updates. Watch the radar HERE. Bear Mountain is closed; however, the “Bear Only” pass will be honored at Snow Summit for the remainder of the season. Note: Must be within your pass restrictions.

Nearly 100% Open

Snow Summit and Bear Mountain currently have 25 lifts available, nearly every run open and over 100 park features. Chair 6 is open accessing The Wall and Olympic and Westridge is now open top-to-bottom with park features; SideShow, Tommi’s and Mainstream are also open today. Chair 8 accessing Geronimo at Bear Mountain opens today and Chair 3 accessing Gambler is expected to open tomorrow. We recieved a couple inches of new snow last night and there’s a slight chance of light snowfall today. Come enjoy the best snow conditions this holiday season right here in your back yard! Night session is scheduled for tonight and Saturday night beginning at 3pm.
