With the deepest snow pack and most open terrain in SoCal, Snow Summit is the perfect Day-cation destination! We had a great snowmaking run lasting 36 hours and we received 3 inches of natural snow this week. Today is sunny with the high reaching 51 degrees. If wide open runs, steeps, park features stacked on Westridge, ZZYZX and the Family Fun Park are not enough at Snow Summit then hop on the inter-mountain shuttle and head over to Bear Mountain to take advantage of your dual mountain lift ticket. Together Snow Summit and Bear Mountain have the most open terrain and the only Superpipe in Southern California; all of that for less than a tank of gas away.
Join us for a little fun under the stars tonight. Snow Summit Saturday night sessions run through March 10th and the last Friday night session is March 2nd, weather and conditions permitting. Westridge park is open and undergoes a special evening groom giving you the freshest terrain since first chair. Take a quick look at this night session video and see what it’s like to ride under the lights.
This has been one of our earliest resort openings; we’re in great shape with a one to two foot base and the snow coverage is very good. This first week has been super fun and there are more good times to be had. We have up to 5 chairs available at Snow Summit accessing Miracle Mile, upper Summit Run, upper Westridge, ZZYZX, Ego Trip and Bear Bottom beginner area. Check out our Snow Report for today’s open lifts status. Hop on the inter-resort shuttle and get a heaping helping of park features to satisfy all levels. Park run at Bear Mountain offers 41 jibs and jumps including the 100 foot rail, Analog spaceship, wall-ride, and the c-box to name a few.
