As of 11:11am Saturday March 9th, all three roads to Big Bear are open with no chains required. All vehicles must always carry chains when traveling to the mountains during winter months.

Road Conditions
Chain control has been lifted on roads to Big Bear. Hwy 330/18 the front way, Hwy 38 through Redlands and Hwy 18 through Lucerne are open with no chains required.
