Light up the New Year

Our annual Torchlight Parade is set to begin tonight at 7pm. This free event features 250 skiers and snowboarders cruising down Miracle Mile with bright torchlights in a beautiful display that lights up the slopes. Afterwards, join us and the torchlight riders for a New Year’s Eve party like no other. The 21+ party is $20 at the door, which includes music, appetizers and a champagne toast. Stay safe and plan ahead for tonight: the road conditions are changing rapidly today and currently chains are required on all routes in and out of Big Bear. Follow our Facebook and Twitter for as-it-happens updates.

More Trails And Features Added

We are on day number 3 of making real snow continuously. The snowmakers are on overtime, but that’s fine with us. As long as the temperature is low and the air is dry, we don’t plan on stopping. Our holiday schedule is in effect until January 3rd. We have nightly sessions until 9:30 pm. When your day session tickets expire at 6 pm, you can upgrade for just $15 to continue until 9:30 pm. There are only 4 days left in 2014. We are ready for the New […]

Santa Had Some Time To Visit

Only four days left until Christmas. Lots of families have the entire week off. Come play. Santa paid us a visit before he gets real busy. When Saint Nick is done delivering presents, that’s when our holiday schedule begins. During the Holiday period we will have extended hours while the day gets shorter with the winter solstice. Your shadow at noon will be the longest of the year. The sun appears in the sky much lower than any other day of the year, which means your shadow will be longer. Today we’ve launched our Season Long Fan Photo contest! Submit your #SlopeSideSelfies for a chance to win some swag every Sunday! | In the spirit of Christmas, & to kick off the first day of winter, we’ve selected our top 14 selfies so far in the 2014/15 winter season and guess what? They all win prizes! | Congrats: @rapheal21 | @lin3ixoxo | @heidadyda […]
