We have been making snow and opening new runs everyday this week and yesterday Lower Log Chute opened! It’s only the beginning of the holidays and already we have 12 available lifts and a variety of open runs for all abilities. Miracle Mile, Summit Run and LogChute are all open top-to-bottom and the beginner area is open for first and second timers. Ego Trip, Upper Westridge and ZZYZX Parks are open with 25 terrain park features and Chair 7 is open accessing Upper Log Chute, Lower TimberRidge and 7-Down. Chair 9 is open serving Sundown and Cruiser runs. As snowmaking continues, even more lifts and runs will open for the holidays! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain now have 21 available lifts and plenty of open terrain. Click HERE to view Map of Open runs. Today is mostly sunny with a chance of light snowfall later tonight and into tomorrow! Don’t forget we have Night Session every night […]
We don’t call it SNOW Summit for nothin! We received 14-16 inches of powder Friday night and we have the best snow coverage in So Cal with the most open terrain. Enjoy the spring conditions these last couple of days. Snow Summit will be open through Tuesday, April 17th. Don’t miss out on the last day of the season tomorrow! Bear Mountain is closed for the season; however, the “Bear Mountain Only” season passes are honored at Snow Summit- within your pass restrictions. All roads to Big Bear are open with no chains required. Check out our latest powder day video HERE.
Now’s the time to come ski and ride at Snow Summit. Nearly 100% of runs are open, coverage is excellent and we have a solid snow base of 1-3 feet. This week’s small storm was just enough to freshen up our surface and make conditions even more fun going into the weekend. Today is sunny with a high of 49 degrees and this weekend warms up to the 50’s with that classic SoCal weather we all love. We’re Southern California’s largest winter playground and we’re just a tank of gas away round trip. Lift hours may vary depending on business volume. Check our Snow Report for details.
