Ahhhh classic SoCal conditions; a dusting of fresh snow yesterday, clear blue skies, and temps in the upper 40’s. Nearly all runs and lifts are open. Lift ticket prices are at Peak weekend rates today. This week’s weather forecast is calling for a chance of snow Monday and Tuesday.
We turned the fan guns on yesterday evening for a great night of snowmaking. We expect to make even more tonight and will continue as long as the conditions are just right. Machine groomed packed powder, sunny skies and a high of 46 degrees make up the recipe for a perfect day on the slopes. Enjoy! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain have nearly 438 skiable acres, full width runs, and plenty of snow; in fact we have more snow in Big Bear than just about anywhere else. Skiing and riding in a true alpine atmosphere is closer than you might think. Big Bear is your backyard playground and we’re just a tank of gas away.
