Last night’s fast moving storm left behind a fresh 1.5 inches of snowfall this morning and clear blue skies! Temperatures are in the thirties today then warming up to the fifties by this weekend. At Big Bear Mountain Resorts you get two mountains with just one ticket. Both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are nearly 100% open with excellent snow coverage! That’s 430 acres of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain and all the park features you can handle. Now is the time to ski and snowboard at SoCal’s largest winter playground, and we’re just a tank of gas way round trip. Lift hours may vary depending on business volume. Check our Snow Report for details.
This is the weekend to have some fun in the sun on the snow. We had several inches of fresh snow early this week, nearly every single run is open, all lifts are available and on top of all of that you can even head to Bear Mountain for even more fun. If you’re not all about the park riding that’s okay because Bear Mountain has the highest lift served peak in So Cal; Geronimo! Exhibition run is a locals favorite too. So change it up a little and take the free inter resort shuttle back and forth between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Happy Sunday to ya!
If you haven’t had a chance to make it up to Big Bear yet, now’s the time to come ski and ride! The snow coverage is excellent with full-width runs and a solid snow base. With nearly every single run open and the toned-down midweek crowds, you practically have the mountain to yourself especially if you like the upper runs like The Bowl, TimberRidge, Log Chute and Perfect Pitches. Enjoy clear blue skies today with temps in the mid 50’s. Take alook at our February Events
