We received 4 inches of fresh snow last night and today is mostly sunny skies with a high of 39 degrees. We’ve also been making snow since early last night and will continue as long as conditions permit! Today’s surface ranges from machine groomed packed powder to powder, so be sure to line up early if you want first tracks. Lifts open at 8:30am!
Temps cooled down enough to give us a great night of snowmaking. We plan to make even more snow tonight and will continue as long as conditions permit. Today, enjoy the sunny skies and cool 43 degree temps. Some runs may open late or may be closed due to snowmaking. Looking for something the whole family can enjoy? Look no further. Our Ski School staff would love to hang with the kids for the day, a couple days, or how ever long you would like! They will make some great new friends and we’ll teach them how to ski and ride; a skill that will keep them happy for the rest of their lives. As for you, you deserve some time to do whatever you like. Whether it’s taking some cruisers down Log Chute or racing down The Bowl, today is your day, make you happy.
Come celebrate the last day of the 2010-11 ski and snowboard season with us. Snow Summit will close for the season at 4:00pm today. The snow coverage is good and there are still plenty of runs. The only season passes valid today are Bear Mountain Anytime and Snow Summit Anytime. Celebrate Snow Summit’s last day on the snow aloha style. The first 500 people will get leid today. Wear your coconuts and grass skirt or Hawaiian shirt; best dressed will win a prize! We’ll have games and a tropical style BBQ. The live band will play from 3-5pm and signature drinks will be served at the bar. Mahalo!
