It was a tough week for the snow, but we’re back on track doing our best to keep you riding. These recent storms brought some much needed rain to Southern California. We certainly welcome any and all moisture but we would have preferred our precipitation to have fallen in the form of snow. But, no worries, that’s what our Snowmakers are for. Our guns have been blowing all night and into morning laying down a good coverage on the slopes. We are hope-full that we will be open as planned for the weekend. Due to weather we are not open today, tomorrow looks good…

  Due to weather conditions, we are closed today and looking for hot soup to warm our bellies. Forecast calls for partly sunny skies tomorrow so things should get back to normal. We’ll keep an eye on the conditions to see if there are any changes. We can all use the power of positive thinking, so…Think snow!!! Come Ride The Scenic Sky Chair Sunday!

How would you like to get the experience of the resort without actually having to strap on ski’s or a snowboard? Well you can, by taking a ride on our Scenic Sky Chair. Chair 2 will be taking visitors on a 30 minute round trip ride along the tree line of our All Mountain Express Run. Riders can stay dry while watching skiers and boarders shred down the face Snow Summit in all their new gear that they purchased on “Black Friday”. Our guests are looking good, new gear and big smiles. That’s what it’s all about. Don’t forget about our photo contest that is going on through the end of the weekend tag your photo’s using #summitopens. We will announce the winners next week.
