Midweek riding is the BEST. There are no lines standing between you and unlimited laps on the snow. Better yet… you can ski for the rest of the season for FREE. It’s the beginning of March and spring is only a few weeks away but don’t tell Mother Nature that! She thinks it’s the middle of winter and we’re not complaining! The most recent storm system brought us 8-11 inches of snow over the past 48 hours and today will be one of the best days of the season on the slopes. Today’s conditions are groomed packed powder with snow good coverage. Please use caution near the runs edges. We are open today from 8am-4pm for full day and 12-4pm for half day. Grab your buddies and get some packed powder laps in! If you’re looking for a little excitement, head over to Bear Mountain and check out the War of Rails finals today. Some of the best skiers in the world are here in Big Bear and battling for cash prizes and bragging rights.

You’re in luck, January is Learn a Snow Sport Month and to celebrate we’re offering free equipment rentals with the purchase of a beginner lesson package. For our valued season pass holders there are additional specials all this month. If you show your season pass at the Guest Services Office you can get a friend a half off lift ticket. Also this month, if you have friends who want to learn how to ski or snowboard you can bring up to three people a day to get a 2-hour lesson package with rentals for just $25.
