It’s Friday night, also our first night session. This is exciting news, because we normally shut down the chair lifts at 4 pm, but not today. Today, our lifts are operating until 9:30 pm. We’ll do the same tomorrow and night sessions are scheduled for December 25, 2014 all the way through Jan 3, 2015. We’ve also expanded our hours of operation. That means more time to play for the whole family. If you take a family photo or any photo here, try using our hashtag #SnowSummit when you post your pictures. Saturday is looking great with nice weather, open roads with no restrictions, and more chairs opening. Our Beginner Area got bigger, serviced by Chair 4. We have some new and exciting updates for you all. Upper Westridge and Zzyzx are open here at Summit. Our Park Staff has been working tirelessly to bring you over 14 jibs and 4 snow features, being serviced by Chair 3. The weather forecast brings more good news, and we anticipate opening more chairs and runs for the holidays. Make sure you stay tuned in with our social media pages and the blog for real time snow and road updates. If you are out on the slopes today, meet the family for lunch at Summit Inn where you’ll find Angus beef burgers stacked fresh crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes. It’s mid-day here at Snow Summit and it’s panning out to be quite a day! We’ve already received 6-8 inches of snow and it’s looking like more weather will still be heading our way this afternoon! With the weather blessing us with natural snowfall our surface condition is currently fresh powder and packed powder! You can rest assured that if you join us this weekend you will be riding on the best conditions of the year thus far! When traveling through the mountains this weekend be sure to keep up with our Snow Report for all the latest road conditions. Currently Early Season Rates are in effect until December 20th, so now is the time to get on the slopes and save! Make a weekend adventure in the mountains part of your plan!
