Spring Ain’t Got Nothing On Us

The calendar says that Spring is right around the corner, but our winter season is still going strong.  While other SoCal resorts are closing up shop, we along with our sister resort, Bear Mountain, still have plenty of terrain open and we intend to keep you riding as far into Spring as possible.  How do we keep having the most consistent skiing and riding conditions in the region?  The answer is simple: thanks to our snowmaking system and crew we are able to back up our commitment to providing the most reliable and consistent on snow experience to you, our guest. 4” Of New Snow and More on the Way

Our night session this evening will start at 3 pm until 9:30 pm. All roads to Big Bear are open with no restrictions so it’ll be an easy drive up to the mountains. Weather can change quickly so please carry tire chains in your vehicle. You can […]

End 2014 with a Champagne Toast and Champagne Powder!

What a way to end with a bang! This is the last post of 2014 and the skiing and riding conditions are looking great for January, 2015 (which is Learn to Ski & Ride Month)! We received more than a foot of champagne powder and even now we are continuing to make snow!  What does that mean?  It means we are finishing off 2014 with the best conditions we’ve had so far this year.  Conditions are also better than they were at any point last season! Today marked the opening of Chair 10, servicing Perfect Pitches and Sugarpine. That means we now have more open terrain then we had at any point last season!  And we’re not done yet… Tomorrow will mark the opening of Chair 6, servicing The Wall and Olympic! Plus we will be expanding terrain on Chair 10 to include Side Show and over at Chair 9 […]
