Merry Christmas! Our snowmaker elves worked all through the night to make some new snow for your Christmas morning. So hold off on opening presents and come hit the slopes first thing! Today is partly sunny with a high of 46. We have 21 available lifts between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain and the most open terrain in SoCal. Keep an eye out for Santa this morning; rumor is he likes to spend a day on the slopes after a busy night of delivering presents!
Snow Summit is closed today, November 16th, and will reopen tomorrow, November 17th, weather permitting. Bear Mountain will remain open today with Chair 1 accessing Expressway, the Gulch and Lower Park Run and Chair 7 accessing Inspiration. Head over there for a stacked park and early season rates: Adults- All day $35/Half-day $30; Young Adults (13-21)- All day $30/Half-day $25; Children (7-12)- All day $15/Half-day $10. Tomorrow we expect to open Chair 1 accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom and Chair 8 accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area.
The skiing and snowboarding season is right around the corner! This weekend is going to be a cold one and we expect to make snow all weekend long and we expect some natural snow too. We’ll keep you posted on opening day information. We hope you’re as excited as we are to hit the slopes! Check back here or on Facebook for up-to-date information and follow the forecast HERE.
