Its hard to believe we’re already in March! It seems like this winter is flying by but its not over yet and the conditions are still the best in Southern California. With the deepest snowpack and 100% open terrain, Snow Summit is the place to be! With snow predicted in this weeks forecast and some super fun events coming up, March is going to be busy! Be sure to save the date for the 17th Annual Victor Alvarez Memorial Race and Silent Auction, coming to Snow Summit this Saturday, March 9th. For more information and to RSVP, visit our Facebook. This Saturday, March 9th is also the last night session of the season so don’t miss your last chance to ski/ride under the lights!
Bear Mountain is shut down for the afternoon. Bear Mountain guests are welcome to use their lift tickets at Snow Summit or head to Guest Services and get a voucher to return to the mountain another day. Enjoy one more sunny day on the slopes because winter weather is expected to return by late tonight! Snow showers are in the forecast and expected to last through tomorrow and into Saturday morning. Make plans to be here this weekend to enjoy fresh snow and mostly sunny skies! Follow the forecast HERE. Chair 1 is temporarily closed due to maintenance but Chair 2 is open and accesses the entire mountain. Head over to Chairs 7 and 10 and spend the day on the east side of the mountain where you’ll find wide open runs and short lift lines.
With little to no lift lines and wide open runs, midweek days are the best time to ski or ride at Snow Summit. One lift ticket gets you access to both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, so be sure to hop on the free inter-mountain shuttle for a fun change of scenery! We have the most open terrain in SoCal with 26 available lifts, 438 skiable acres and more than 200 terrain park features for all levels. Night session is scheduled for tonight and Saturday night from 3-9:30pm but please check back before your visit to confirm operating hours. Enjoy another fun day on the slopes. The weather forecast calls for scattered rain showers today and the high is 46 degrees, but snow levels are expected to drop over the weekend. **Night Session Canceled at Snow Summit for Friday 1-25 (tonight)**
