We have been making snow and opening new runs everyday this week and yesterday Lower Log Chute opened! It’s only the beginning of the holidays and already we have 12 available lifts and a variety of open runs for all abilities. Miracle Mile, Summit Run and LogChute are all open top-to-bottom and the beginner area is open for first and second timers. Ego Trip, Upper Westridge and ZZYZX Parks are open with 25 terrain park features and Chair 7 is open accessing Upper Log Chute, Lower TimberRidge and 7-Down. Chair 9 is open serving Sundown and Cruiser runs. As snowmaking continues, even more lifts and runs will open for the holidays! Snow Summit and Bear Mountain currently have 21 lifts available, the most open terrain in SoCal and over 100 park features. Westridge is undergoing a full park set-up and is expected to open top-to-bottom on tomorrow along with The Wall and Olympic. We have excellent coverage and the best snow conditions and expect to have all lifts operable and most runs open by this weekend including Geronimo at Bear Mountain! Big Bear Lake received 4 inches of new snow this week and nothin’ rings in the holidays like packed powder snow conditions. Night session is scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday night beginning at 3pm.
Snow Summit and Bear Mountain currently have 16 available lifts, the most open terrain in SoCal and plenty of park features for everyone! Chair 9 accessing the Family Fun Park is open at Snow Summit with 17 new snow features and Upper Westridge and ZZYZX also have a variety of terrain park features with more to come. Miracle Mile, Summit run, Log Chute and Timber Ridge are all open top-to-bottom, our local’s favorite Chair 7 is open accessing Upper Log Chute, Timber Ridge and 7-Down, and the beginner area is wide open.
