Place your reservations today! At Big Bear Mountain Resorts we limit ticket sales in order to reduce lift lines, and to keep runs and lodge areas comfortable. On peak weekends and holidays, we recommended you reserve your tickets and/or lessons a few days in advance. If you are unable to use your tickets on the day of your reservation, your order will be kept in our system until you are ready to use them, however a new reservation is still necessary (no additional charge). To purchase your lift tickets online go to bigbearmountainresorts.com. To purchase lift tickets and/or lessons by phone, please call 909-866-5841.

Directions:
Snow Summit is conveniently located in the Big Bear Lake area of the San Bernardino Mountains. The address is 880 Summit Blvd., Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.

When traveling to the Big Bear there are three routes to choose from:

1. State Hwy 330 / Hwy 18 through Running Springs is the fastest and easiest route; however, it can get congested on weekends and busy holidays.

2. Highway 38 through Redlands is a bit longer, but is the most scenic and often has less traffic than Hwy 330 / Hwy 18.

3. Finally there is Highway 18 through the Lucerne Valley, which gets less snowfall during storms and has the least amount of mountain driving.

It is a good idea to choose your route depending on weather conditions and day of the week, and remember to always carry chains in your vehicle when traveling in the mountains.

Lodging:
Big Bear Mountain Resorts is located in the City of Big Bear Lake with several types of lodging within walking distance or a short drive to the resorts, including condominiums, cabins, private homes, hotels, etc. Snow Summit or Bear Mountain does not operate any lodging facilities; however, there are a number of lodging options within convenient walking distance of each resort base area. Big Bear Mountain Resorts works very closely with the Big Bear Lake Resort Association, with many members offering great savings through Ski/Ride and Stay packages. For more lodging information, please contact 800-4-BIG-BEAR or visit their Web site at bigbear.com.
