Both resorts made snow for a few hours last night. Central Park run at Bear is open with 17 new features. Snow Summit is focusing snowmaking on Miracle Mile and Upper Summit run along with Ego Trip, Upper Westridge, ZZYZX, and the beginner run on chair 8. Both resorts will make snow at every opportunity. Snowmaking will continue at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain as conditions permit. As snowmaking progresses more lifts and runs will be available at Bear Mountain. We'll let you know Snow Summit's expected open date as we get closer.

Road Conditions
3 Ways to Big Bear - Highway 330/18 from San Bernardino through Running Springs ("Front Way") is the shortest and most direct route. Highway 38 from Redlands ("Back Way") is the best route when leaving the Valley on weekends and holidays. Highway 18 from Lucerne Valley ("Desert Way") is best in snowy weather.
Hwy. 330 / 18: (Running Springs) SR 330 Most traveled- Open, with 10 minute construction delays Mon.-Fri.
Hwy. 38: (Redlands) SR 38 Less traveled- Open
Hwy. 18: (Lucerne Valley) Least traveled-

All vehicles including 4-wheel and All-wheel drives must always carry chains when traveling to the mountains during winter months.

Weekends and Holidays: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
Half-Day Session
Monday-Friday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.*
Weekends and Holidays: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
*When night session is offered, day session and half-day session are extended to 6:00 p.m. Hours of operation may vary due to business volume and/or adverse weather conditions.

Most Friday, Saturday and Holiday Evenings: 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.**
