Gravity Feed: September 29th Update

by Rob Ochtera | Sep 29, 2016

Fall has arrived on the calendar and at the Park. Riding conditions are perfect; from the weather to the dirt. Come enjoy all the Park has to offer this autumn.

We added some new terrain this season. If you haven't ridden Going Green or the new Turtle Trail, you need to give these new additions to our core Park trails a ride. Going Green is over four miles of Beginner Terrain from our Mountain Top Trailhead all the way back down to our Basecamp. Turtle Trail has long been a favorite of our riders and this season it has been extended to our Mountain Top Trailhead. It is now an incredible flow trail from top to Basecamp featuring forty-five bermed turns.

Fall is a great time to head out of the Park for some cross-country fun. This season our Trail Crew teamed up with the National Forest service to perform some maintenance and trail redesign on some local trails. Among the trails you will find improved, maintained and clearly marked with trail signs are the Skyline Trail, Pirate's, Fall Line and Fern Trail. Take the chair to the top and follow the signs leaving the park for a cross-country adventure.

We'll be riding Friday through Sunday for the entire month of October. The last weekend of October will be our final weekend of operation. Come enjoy the great weather and give a new trail a roll- we'll see you on the dirt...
